AACN Professional Advancement Scholarship Nurse Managers who want to earn bachelors' or masters' of science in nursing degrees should apply for this program. Scholarship applicants will submit an individual professional development plan as the basis for their request. Applicants will assess their knowledge and skill gaps, then describe the desired learning outcomes and how they will evaluate their success.
AfterCollege/AACN Scholarship The AACN/AfterCollege Scholarships support students who are seeking a baccalaureate, masters or doctoral degree in nursing. Four $2,500 scholarships will be awarded throughout the year.
Army ROTC Nursing Scholarships Whether you’re a college-bound high school student or already attending a college or university, Army ROTC has scholarships available. Scholarships are awarded based on a student’s merit and grades, not necessarily financial need. Florida Navy Nurse Corps Association The Florida Navy Nurse Corps Association Scholarship Committee has established a fund to award scholarships to deserving nursing students and/or Registered Nurses to continue their studies for a baccalaureate or graduate degree in nursing. The amount of each award will be $1500 and will go directly to the recipient. At this time we anticipate awarding two scholarships in this category for 2015. Applications must be returned by October 31, 2015. Only completed applications and forms will be considered. Announcement of the selection will be made in November.
Florida Nurses Foundation Scholarship and Research Grants The Florida Nurses Foundation exists to promote nursing and delivery of healthcare through the advancement of research, education and practice. Each year, funds are provided to registered nurses and students for scholarships and research grants.
HireNurses.com The HireNurses.com $1000 scholarship is available to nursing students to be used toward any expense that they might have while in nursing school (tuition, books, childcare, transportation, rent etc). Interested applicants simply need to go to HireNurses.com and click on the "Scholarship Application" link. It will have them create a full profile and then include a brief statement as to why they deserve the scholarship. Applications are being reviewed by a board of nurses and the winner will be highlighted on HireNurses.com as our Nurse of the Week.

Below are the details:

- ALL levels of nursing students (RN, BSN, MSN or DNP) may apply for the scholarship.
- The money can be used towards any expense that they might have while in nursing school (tuition, books, childcare, transportation, etc).
- Applicants simply need to go to HireNurses.com and click on the "Scholarship Application" link and Create a full profile.
- A 500 word essay is required on why the student feels they deserve the scholarship. This essay should tell their story as to why they decided to be a nurse and why they could use the financial support.
- The application period will run until September 15th. In reviewing our top applicants we will be contacting their nursing school in September to ensure that they are enrolled and in good standing at the college/university. At that time we will then choose the winner and feature them and the school they are attending on our website: HireNurses.com
HRSA Scholarship Program Graduate scholarships for family nurse practitioner, nurse midwifery, and physician assistant students administered by the U.S Health Resources Services Administration.
March of Dimes Graduate Nursing Scholarship To recognize and promote excellence in nursing care of mothers and babies, the March of Dimes offers several $5,000 scholarships annually to registered nurses enrolled in graduate programs of maternal-child nursing.
National Black Nursing Association Scholarships Scholarships for Black and African-American nursing students administered by the National Back Nurses’ Association. Applicants must be members of the local chapter to qualify.
NIH Undergraduate Scholarship Program Service undergraduate scholarships for disadvantaged individuals interested in careers in biomedical health research administered by the National Institutes of Health.
NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program The National Science Foundation's Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) helps ensure the vitality of the human resource base of science and engineering in the United States and reinforces its diversity. The program recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines who are pursuing research-based master's and doctoral degrees in the U.S. and abroad. The NSF welcomes applications from all qualified students and strongly encourages under-represented populations, including women, under-represented racial and ethnic minorities, and persons with disabilities, to apply for this fellowship.
Scholarship for Disadvantaged Students (SDS) The Scholarship for Disadvantaged Students (SDS) purpose is to promote diversity among the health professions and nursing workforce. Complete the SDS 2018 Application and submit via NursingCAS by Sunday, April 1, 2018. This application includes a 1-2 page typed personal statement discussing (a) why would you benefit from this scholarship and (b) your interest in providing primary care and how you will use your MSN education to deliver high quality, culturally sensitive primary care immediately following graduation.
Weekly Cash Scholarship CollegeCognitive.com is proud to announce up to TWELVE $1,000.00 Cash Scholarships. ANY graduate or undergraduate student (future or current) that has been accepted or attends a community college, technical/trade college, or university may apply. Deadline to apply is October 20, 2015.
