"A Multi-Institution Collaboration to Study the Impacts of Friday Night at the ER®, a Table Top Simulation on Systems Thinking in Groups of Healthcare Providers and Students", Jill Steiner Sanko, PhD, PI

This pre- post intervention design study examined the impact of a commercially available product 'Friday Night at the ER' (FNER) on systems thinking in healthcare students from the disciplines of nursing, medicine, physical therapy, and public health and licensed nurses.

Data was collected from individuals participating in FNER sessions at University of Miami, University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and Greensboro, and Indiana University using the Systems Thinking Scale. Data collection is completed and data analysis is in process. This project was funded through a University of Miami Provost Research Award.
