"Dual Target Program: A Non-Pharmacological Intervention for Family Caregivers and Patients with Alzheimer's Disease"

The purpose of this study is to evaluate how technology and individually tailored interventions affect caregiver stress, caregiving skills and the overall well-being of persons caring for patients with cognitive problems like dementia or Alzheimer's disease.


Family caregivers are provided a tablet through which they receive one-on-one sessions with a therapist. Additionally, caregivers receive three in-depth interview assessments in their home. The study is currently enrolling participants. The study is funded by the National Institute on Aging (R01AG054009; PI: Czaja).
