The AGNP Primary Care program offers an excellent educational foundation in advanced practice nursing and substantial clinical and leadership experience.

The Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner is a Registered Nurse who synthesizes theoretical, scientific, and contemporary clinical knowledge for the assessment and management of both health and illness states. The scope of practice is not setting specific but rather it is based on patient care needs.

Graduates of the program are prepared to make independent and collaborative decisions, provide evidence-based sound clinical judgments, and advance their profession through the implementation of research findings in practice aimed at improving patient outcomes.
