The Student Perspective
SONHS Student Ambassadors are dedicated student leaders who represent the School of Nursing and Health Studies at a variety of events and programs throughout the academic year. Serving as the face of the school, ambassadors offer a unique, first-hand perspective on student life and academic experiences within the Nursing, Public Health, and Health Sciences undergraduate programs.
Our nursing and health students tailor their clinical rotations, leadership opportunities, and work experiences to build skills that align with their passions and connect them to the most sought-after health care jobs, internships, and volunteer opportunities in South Florida.
Make a difference in global health and stand out in today’s health care job market with SONHS’s unrivaled hemispheric and global initiatives. Through our partnerships with international health organizations, SONHS students experience health care delivery across cultures in exchange programs or by engaging in innovative research abroad to enhance patient care and the nursing profession.
