The Alumnus of Distinction is an annual honor given to a former student doing innovative, prominent, and notable things in their communities and the health care field. This year’s Alumnus of Distinction is Elizabeth L. Vieito-Smith, MSN ‘09, DNP ‘12, RN. Elizabeth is the Chief Nursing Officer at the University of Miami Health System.
