Students are prepared to make independent and collaborative decisions, apply evidence-based clinical judgement, and advance the nursing profession through the implementation of research findings aimed at improving patient outcomes.
Graduates are prepared to make independent and collaborative clinical decisions, apply research findings to practice, and improve patient outcomes. Upon completion of the program, graduates are eligible to take the adult-gerontology acute care specialty certification examinations offered by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN).
